Cheer The Children Youth Organization (CTC) was founded on the belief that meaningful change begins early. The experiences children have during their formative years shape how they view learning, opportunity, and their place in the world. When education is introduced with intention and essential needs are met, children are more likely to develop curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong desire to learn.
That belief continues to guide who we are today.
CTC is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families through education, creativity, technology access, and essential community support. Our work reaches communities in the United States and internationally, addressing both access to learning and the conditions that allow learning to take place.
We began with a commitment to use creativity as a tool for education and connection. Through bilingual educational resources, media-based learning, and hands-on youth leadership, we create opportunities that are engaging, culturally responsive, and accessible. We also recognize that education cannot exist in isolation. Food security, reliable technology, family stability, and safe learning environments all help children thrive.
As CTC grows, we remain focused on long-term impact, accountability, responsible partnerships, and service rooted in dignity and respect. We are building stronger futures by investing in children, empowering young leaders, and working alongside the communities we serve.
Cheer The Children Youth Organization is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Stacy L. Olortegui
Founder & Executive Director
Our mission is to support children and families by expanding access to education, creative learning, and essential resources. We work to create opportunities that encourage curiosity, dignity, and long-term growth, both internationally and within the United States.
We envision a future where children are supported from an early age with the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to continue learning throughout their lives.
Through access to education and essential support, children develop confidence, resilience, and a relationship with learning that carries with them well beyond their early years.
