CTC is developing grant-supported assistance to help eligible working, studying, and low-income families manage childcare costs. Program availability depends on grants, donor restrictions, eligibility rules, and available resources.

Parents or guardians who need childcare to work, seek employment, attend school or training, or address an important family need.

Partial childcare costs, provider payments, referrals, or other grant-authorized assistance when funding is available.

No government ID, passport, Social Security number, or immigration status is requested in this initial application.

    CTC childcare assistance serves eligible families in the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties. Assistance is subject to verification and available funding and is not guaranteed.

    Childcare Program Summary

    Eligible families may receive up to $1,500 per child during a 12-month period for approved childcare costs. Awards may be divided into temporary monthly payments. A family may reapply after 12 months, but renewal is not automatic. Approved funds are normally paid directly to a verified licensed or legally exempt childcare provider.

    Do not upload or enter a Social Security number, bank account, passport, immigration status, or government identification. If the request advances, CTC may request limited provider, cost, income, work, school, training, or emergency documentation through a secure process.

    Submitting this form does not reserve a childcare space or obligate CTC to pay costs incurred before written approval. Families remain responsible for childcare charges unless and until CTC issues written approval to the provider.
